We love finding affordable things to do, and one of these is exploring the toddler groups around Woking.
Toddle Tots is run from the Boscos Hall at All Staint’s in New Haw Church on a Wednesday morning during term time from 9:30am until 11:00am.
They have two rooms set up with lots of different toys and resources. The larger room has a home corner, comfy sofas, a craft table, book area and block play whilst the smaller hall has a baby area and small world setup. There is also an outside patio area with ride on cars, tough tray activities and bubbles.
Being outside at a toddler stay and play group is ideal for the little ones. Noah loved playing in the police car and spent ages zooming around and crashing into things. Although he has one of these cars at home he still loves to play in the different versions.
Isabella was fascinated by the tuff tray as this had play dough in it and other accessories where she could make shapes and patterns into it. She also loved paying with all the dolls and pushing them around in their buggies. This extra space for them to explore was great.
The craft table is always popular and busy area, the children love getting art and crafty in this area. Each week there is something different to do, and it always catches the little ones attention. They are so proud to take home what they have made in the session.
Then towards the end of the session everyone tidies up together at 10:45am and finish with singing and dancing time together. This was a lovely way to end the session and both little ones had lots of fun jumping around to the songs.
Aromatic coffee and different types of tea are served from the kitchen with high quality biscuits for all. There are also other refreshments available too.
They are currently running a booking system to make sure that they are not too crowded and the team send out an email every Friday afternoon to book for the following Wednesday. There is also a possibility that a few of these sessions will run through the summer holidays as well.
