Following a very recent refurbishment the playground at Manor Fruit Farm is now an exciting adventure playground for children of all ages and there is so much to do here.
As this is a brand new development on the site, the ground is still getting used to the changes, and therefore it is very muddy – so a wise idea to pack a pair of wellies for your trip. Hopefully in the coming months the ground will have settled, and lush green grass will be visible.
Separated into two areas, for the younger children it is perfectly fenced off to add that extra level of security incase of any escapees. The fence is a great height as you are still able to see over the top if you have older children in the other half of the playground.
For the small children there is a lot to occupy them, there are swings – basket swing, toddler swing and a double swing where the parent can also join in too. They have various Wendy houses which they can play inside, stepping logs and a balancing beam.
In the middle of the playground is a very impressive climbing frame. This is the perfect height for the toddlers, high enough for them to enjoy, but not too high to be scared and parents can even reach the top of this too. They have two slides to choose from, a fireman’s pole, interactive play games which they can enjoy, steps and a rope ladder too.
For the older children there is an open plan park which is very inviting. Isabella headed straight to the zip line and had lots of fun going back and forth at super speed. They also had a large rope swing which could seat about 8x children on it. Various different swings to enjoy, from basket swings, swings and a car seat swing too.
They also had a climbing frame which had double swings underneath it. Something really impressive which I’ve not seen before was in the middle was like a giant pogo stick, so you could cross from one side of the climbing frame to the other – it’s like a giant gear stick. There was also a slide attached to this too, and various ways in which they can climb to the top.
There is a lot exciting things to do in this new playground. Also the benefit of free parking just outside, and there is also a coffee shop in the vicinity too.
