We recently discovered the new Inflatable Zone at Hatfield Leisure Centre which has been open since just before the new year. And we had SO MUCH FUN! As soon as we arrived, we couldn’t believe this was our first trip to the inflatable zone.
This hidden gem is situated off Travellers Lane in Hatfield. The centre offers a gym and other sports leisure facilities including football cages. There is also a free car park.
The Inflatable Zone is a recent addition to the centre and has been up since November 2024. The whole inflatable course fills the entire sports hall and includes lots of difference sections!
The sessions run for 60 minutes per session on the weekends and extra sessions on the holidays. The area is certainly big enough for an energised 60 minutes of great fun for all!
The areas include a climbing wall, the Wibble Wabble area, the unclimbable ladder (it really was unclimbable for me!!), the obstacle course and lots of slides! There are bleaches for observing and “time out” spaces to catch your breath for a few minutes. There are also free to use lockers for your shoes and valuables before entering the Zone. Highly recommend using these!!
The leisure centre has vending machines inside for snacks and drinks. Socks are required to enter the Inflatable Zone and you can either bring your own or purchase some from the main desk at reception.
The Inflatable zone is suitable for ages 8+ to adulthood and it really is a great place to have some quality time together, and burn off some energy!
The Inflatable Zone is open at the moment on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional sessions during holidays so a perfect one to keep on your list for a rainy weekend or Feb half term coming up!

Much to our delight, after we visited the Inflatable Zone, Hatfield Leisure Centre have just introduced the perfect alternative for the toddler crew called Toddler World!
These smaller scale inflatables are for toddlers from ages 6 months to 5 years and include 3 different inflatables. These sessions are on at the moment on a Tuesday (9am-4pm) , Thursday (11am-4pm) and Sunday (10am-1pm). We can’t wait to visit and try this out! Bookings for both Inflatable Zone and Toddler world are done via the Better Gym app, selecting Hatfield leisure centre.
