Slimbridge Wetland Centre Halloween Trail
11 October - 3 November
Brand new for 2024, the Slimbridge Wetland Centre Halloween Light Trail will take you on a journey that’s every bit as amazing as the wildlife you’ll see during the day.
Dates: Friday 11 & Saturday 12, Friday 18 & Saturday 19 October and Half Term: Friday 25 October – Sunday 3 November
You’ll discover the Marsh Witch and her potions, pumpkins, shipwrecks, scarecrows, bats, broomsticks, and much more.
Make a wish with her in the pond zone, get creative in the arts and craft zone, or toast marshmallows in the firepit.
In the Kingfisher Kitchen there will be no tricks – only treats, with spooktacular street food being served until 8pm. Fuel your adventure with the following: pulled pork, Aberdeen Angus and BBQ jackfruit burgers, cheesy chips, dirty fries or giant onion rings. That all sounds terrifyingly tasty!
Time slots: 5.30pm, 5.45pm, 6pm, 6.15pm, 6.30pm, 6.45pm, 7pm, 7.15pm, 7.30pm, 7.45pm, 8pm
SENS sessions: 11, 12, 18 & 19 October at 6pm & 6.15pm and 25 October at 5.30pm & 5.45pm. These sessions are specifically designed to be more accessible and comfortable for individuals who may be sensitive to intense sensory experiences. The key differences in these sessions include:
- Twilight Timing – take place before it gets too dark, during twilight, so the lighting is softer and less overwhelming.
- The background music played throughout the trail is toned down to a lower volume and the actors involved in the event will adopt a more relaxed approach.
Cost: Adult: £14.50, Child: £12.50, Under 4s: Free, Carer: Free with a paying customer.
