Aldershot PlayFest! is an amazing action-packed day of fun hands-on play and games for all ages.  Held on Saturday 26th August, there will be lots of activities for families to look forward to throughout the town centre.  A great way to start the August bank holiday weekend in Aldershot.

All the activities are free!

• Travel under the ocean in a virtual reality experience
• Be blown away at the bubble exploration station
• Climb inside a giant cave
• Create a giant mural
• Join a pop-up barn dance
• Try an instrument at the Musication Station
• Visit the quiet story corner
• Programme a Lego robot
• Meet the beekeepers
• Take part in bushcraft and forest-themed crafty fun
• Have a kickabout with Hampshire FA
• Learn karate moves
• Build a bird with K-NEX
• Learn a new board game
• For toddlers, there’s art, music and messy play too

You can also meet a giant dragon, join some perky pop-up barn dances and watch some brilliant bubble shows, then learn the ukulele and sing along with the Uke Box Baby team throughout the day.

At the workshop marquee, families can take part in a mini-rave party, try karate, join a toddler music session, have a boogie, join a sing-along and more!
