Inside Trafford Palazzo next door to the Trafford Centre is an amazing family day out location of Legoland Discovery. It’s perfect for any lego fan and at the moment they have an event on.

We visited last weekend on their opening day of this years Mini Master Model Builder competition.

Its a nation wide compeition – weekends from 6th Jan to 4th Feb so it was really fun to have the chance to enter. Both girls build a house each and spent a good 90 minutes building their creations.

The building competition meant the girls really thought about what they were making and even us parents were on the “finding certain pieces job” which made it a family effort.

When Can I enter?

On weekends between January 6th and February 4th

Who can enter?

Any child under aged 17 or under

Where can I enter?

At LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester or Birmingham

What do I need to do?

Build something in the centres using  awesome bricks and enter it into the competition.

A winner from Birmingham and a winner from Manchester will be announced as finalists on social media the week commencing 5th February. They will be asked to do a final challenge in order to become the UK’s Mini Master Model Builder!

 Prize: £500 to spend in the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Store and 4 Gold Merlin Annual Passes. The runner-up gets 4 local annual passes to their closest LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
