This week myself and the little ones had the pleasure of visiting Bocketts Farm and we had a fantastic day out Like most adventure farms there is a lot to do here and certainly my little ones enjoyed themselves so much they slept on the way home.
When purchasing your tickets you are able to buy some small animal feed and they let you know which animals you are allowed to feed during your visit. Of course we purchased this as my eldest would love to hand feed the farm animals.
As like most farms there are similar animals such as cows, pigs, goats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and sheep. Our day started with checking out the animals and giving them some breakfast.
One of the additional fun activities which my little ones enjoyed was the tractor ride. This wasn’t included in the admissions fee but was £1.50 (under 2s are free)
The ride is as 15 minutes and the views are incredible, plus gives your feet a little break and for us it was a welcomed break from the sunshine.

There is an amazing soft play area indoors for the little ones to explore but we actually ran out of time so my little adventurers didn’t get an opportunity to check this out. We were having too much fun on the farm and outdoor play areas. So will have to come back and check this out too.
The outdoor play areas are amazing and my little ones didn’t know where to go first. From jumping pillows to giant lilypads there is something for all ages. There is a separate area for under 5s which is great, as some times the littler children get nervous when the older children are jumping.
In the playground there is the usual play equipment from slides, swings, climbing frame and a huge sandpit to play in. With the added addition of farm tractors which the children are allowed to play on, this was a big hit with my little boy.
There is also a cafe on site with the food being reasonably priced, and the same for the gift shop. We came away with a few souvenirs and my purse hardly noticed. The toilet facilities were clean and very accessible, having the double pram I always find it difficult being able to manoeuvre in the baby changing rooms or even fit through the doors, but luckily these were large enough to fit us all in.
Would we go back? 100% yes we would. Although having spent the whole day at the farm there were areas which we didn’t expire as ran out of time. Seeing the smiles on my children’s faces I could tell how much fun they were having. It’s a lovely place for all ages and they also do special events depending on the season, so we will certainly be coming back to explore further.
We’re already looking forward to coming back soon. Bocketts Farm has won a 2022 award for the Best Family Attraction in Surrey, and I’m delighted that it’s on our doorstep and we had the pleasure of visiting this incredible farm.
