Crockford Bridge Pick Your Own (Addlestone)

A family run farm in the heart of Surrey. Crockford Bridge farm occupies around 80 acres of green belt land in West Surrey. The farm is one of the oldest continually farmed farms in Surrey and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Advanced online bookings are essential.  Keep an eye on their website for these early strawberry picking at Crockford Bridge.  The strawberry season usually starts slowly, with limited tickets available during the first few days, but later into June the strawberries will be plentiful and more tickets are released every day or so. Also don’t forget to check the boards daily to see what else is available for picking. There is also an onsite Ice Cream shop serving a range of 24 different flavours of homemade gelato.

Early June update – After a very cold and wet Spring, the strawberry season is very late. The first strawberries are just starting to come through but there aren’t enough to guarantee availability throughout the day.

Garsons Pick Your Own (Esher)

This is a lovely family friendly place to visit, and we have enjoyed many trips here from fruit picking to pumpkin picking too. Entry to Garsons PYO is strictly by an online booking pass. Strawberry season has already started and there are lots of delicious strawberries.

The dedicated team of farmers work hard year round to ensure that the 155 acres of fields are ready for picking from early June through to late October.

You can pick from delicious fruits, fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers. Once you have picked your crops, why not head over to browse around the farm shop, grab  lunch at the cafe and let the children burn off some steam at the onsite playground too.

Secretts (Milford)

The farm grows vegetables and salad crops and sells produce in its converted stables now used as a traditional farm shop. An on-site café sells hot and cold drinks, light meals and ‘pick n mix’ kids lunchboxes. The company posts regular picking lists on its social media platforms to inform visitors about which products are available.  THey’ll be open this summer for small picking events

Flower Farm (Godstone)

This Surrey farm has offered pick-your-own crops and fruits since 1975 and grows a wide range including strawberries, raspberries and plums. They advise customers not to pull the fruit as this can result in the calyx being removed or even the plug. Strawberries and cherries – end of June to July. Raspberries – end of June to August. Victoria plums – August. Open: June to September, daily 9am-5pm.

Priory Farm (Redhill)

Situated near the Surrey village of Nutfield, Priory Farm is a great place to get strawberries with children.  Although they no longer offer pick-your-own, they do have a brilliant farm shop with a range of summer fruit. You can then take the kids on a Woodland Fairy walk at Discovery Land.  Explore the woods of the Priory Farm estate on the exciting family adventure trail.

Tulley’s Sunflower Festival (Crawley Down)

Over into Sussex, this is a PYO with a difference, with gorgeous sunflowers.  A Picture-Perfect Oasis: Nestled within the stunning landscapes of Tulleys Farm in Sussex, we have over 25 carefully crafted selfie stations, each offering a chance to capture the joy and wonder of the moment.  The Sunflower Fields are situated on the road between Worth and Tulleys Farm main site.
